The Bolero has been the mainstay of the Mahindra brand since the year 2000. So in 2025, the vehicle completes 25 years in the Indian market. It has been very successful, and for many years, it was the best-selling product from the Mahindra SUV line-up. Along with the Bolero Neo, the Bolero sales have crossed 1.68 million units. The Bolero brand cars continue to sell at ~1 lakh units per year.
Over the years, it has had many updates, including engine changes. However, the essence of the car has remained the same. It continues to be a simple, robust runabout aimed at the semi-rural market. For 2025, Mahindra has once again given the MUV some more updates. These updates include some cosmetic changes, feature additions and a new variant – B8. This means that the Bolero is now available in four variants – B4, B6, B6(O) and B8. These are priced between Rs. 7.99 lakh and Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
Now, let’s take a quick look at what’s new.
There is a new colour on offer – Stealth Black. Other colour options include Diamond White, DSAT Silver and Rocky Beige:

At the front, there is a new radiator grille, and fog lamps have been added to the feature list:
Radiator grille gets a honeycomb mesh and vertical slats. Four slats are finished in chrome. Large chrome badge is placed in the middle: 
Bumper comes with fog lamps. These are halogen units:

Fuel filler is located on the right… 
…while DEF filler is located on the left. Surprisingly, the right flap is smaller in size than the left one:

B6 and higher variants get a 7-inch touchscreen head-unit. Type-A and Type-C USB ports have been provided:
Front seats are more supportive and get beige leatherette upholstery:
Beige and brown theme is carried over to the doorpads:
Front doorpads come with pockets and bottle holders. Rear units do not get these:
Rear bench with the new upholstery. It also comes with two adjustable headrests and seatbelts for three: 
Centre armrest has been provided, but it does not get cupholders:
Third row gets the new upholstery as well, but continues with side-facing seats:
No changes to the engine or transmission. It continues with the BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel powerplant that makes 75 BHP and 210 Nm. 5-speed MT has been carried over as well:
The Bolero comes with Mahindra’s RIDEFLO suspension, steering and braking tech.
