While reactions have been mixed-as often happens when a theatrical film moves to home viewing, especially with comedies-some viewers felt it was less entertaining than in theaters. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that this small film has already achieved rare success.
Many believed that Shivani Nagaram, the lead actress, recently gave a sharp response to a random Instagram user who posted an abusive comment about her dressing. Despite having acted in only few films, she did not hold back. She replied with a “slipper shot,” referencing a popular dialogue from the film, saying everything he said was being “returned to your mom.”
But in reality, this is not her original Instagram account, yet the comment is a perfect slipper shot at those abusive people who prey on social media and indulge in cheap fun.
This post also highlights a sad reality of social media: toxic users often try to bring down anyone doing well. Shivani’s fake account posted a perfect, well-timed response.
