A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Andhra University and the Geological Survey of India (GSI) to foster collaboration in the fields of geological research, capacity building, and knowledge sharing, at Hyderabad in Telangana on Saturday (October 11, 2025).
This strategic partnership aims to facilitate joint research projects, exchange of expertise, and hands-on training for students and scholars in advanced geological studies, said AU Registrar Prof. K. Rambabu.
The MoU was signed by Prof. K. Rambabu and Satyanarayana Mahapatro, Deputy Director General , GSI, in the presence of AU vice chancellor Prof. G.P. Rajasekhar. Mr. Satyanarayana Mahapatro briefed on the activities of the GSI.
