JSW MG Motor India has revealed that Cyberstar sales have crossed 250 units since its launch in July 2025. The Cyberster is MG’s flagship electric sports car for the Indian market and was launched at a price of Rs.74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). For customers who pre-booked at the time of launch, this price has come down to Rs.72.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Overall, MG says it has sold 256 units of its flagship sports car till the end of September, and the venting period for this model is up to 4 months.
The Cyberster’s global debut took place at Auto Shanghai in April 2023, after which it became available for sale in markets around the world. The Roadster made its India debut in March 2024, and was launched in our country more than a year later in July 2025.
Despite being available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options in global markets, the Cyberster is available only with rear-wheel drive powertrain and in a single variant in the Indian market. The all-wheel drive variant is powered by two electric motors (one on each axle) that combined to produce 528 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, delivered to all four wheels. It has been claimed that it achieves 0-100 km/h speed in 3.2 seconds. The car has a 77 kWh battery pack which gives a maximum range of 580 km on a single charge.
In terms of looks, the Cyberster looks like a true roadster, and MG says that its design inspiration has been taken from old classic sports cars. The cabin puts the emphasis on the driver with a 3-screen display behind the steering wheel – a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster flanked by two 7.0-inch auxiliary displays and a flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel. Other tech highlights include a Bose audio system, a 7.0-inch touchscreen (separate from the driver unit) with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, Level 2 ADAS function and power-operated butterfly doors.
The Cyberster, along with the MG M9 luxury MPV, is sold exclusively through MG’s new premium MG Select dealerships. MG says that it currently has 14 select dealerships in major cities across the country.
