Hero MotoCorp has officially entered the Italian market. The world’s largest 2-wheeler maker has partnered with Pelpi International – one of Italy’s leading 2-wheeler distributors. Hero 2-wheelers will retail through 36 dealerships across key cities in the initial phase, with plans to expand its footprint to 54 showrooms in the next phase. Hero is offering three Euro 5+ compliant models in Italy. These include the Hunk 440 (rebadged Mavrick 440), priced at 3,990; the Xpulse 200 4V, priced at 2,990; and the Xpulse 200 4V Pro, which costs 3,190. The bike maker is offering a 3-year standard warranty on its products in Italy. Customers can avail of an additional 2-year warranty as part of a special launch offer. Besides Italy, Hero MotoCorp already has a presence in 48 countries. The company has 8 manufacturing facilities spread across the globe and two R&D centres.
