The Yamaha WR155R has been spotted on Indian roads. The dual-sport bike, captured on the streets of Bangalore, doesn’t seem to be an official test mule, though. This bike is most likely a private import. Images shared online show a person casually riding without any protective gear, not even a helmet. Even the bike doesn’t appear to be built to Indian specifications, which mandate a front number plate and saree guard. The WR155R comes with the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that powers the Yamaha R15 and MT-15. This engine produces 16.5 BHP @ 10,000 rpm and 14.3 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. The bike is equipped with a telescopic fork in the front and a mono-shock in the rear. It rides on 21-inch and 18-inch wirespoke wheels in the front and rear, respectively, and has a ground clearance of 245 mm. Source:Rushlane
