Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo have been launched in India with many updates for the festive season. Both the SUVs have some cosmetic changes and some new feature updates, which make them even more attractive for the customers. The 2025 Bolero is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 9.69 lakh, while its more modern version, the Bolero Neo, is priced between Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Mahindra Bolero is now available in four variants – B4, B6, B6(O), and B8. Whereas, Bolero Neo is available in five variants – N4, N8, N10, N10(O), and N11.

Starting with the classic Bolero, the exterior changes made to this SUV are purely cosmetic. This includes a new grille, new fog lamps and new 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. However, you still don’t get LED lighting; The headlights and fog lamps are both halogen units. However, Mahindra has introduced a new color for this SUV called Stealth Black, which comes with dark brown inserts.

Key changes in the cabin include new seat covers with better cushioning. Based on customer demand, the company has also added a small rectangular touchscreen infotainment display. The Bolero now also gets steering mounted audio controls, a few Type A USB ports and a Type C USB port.

At the same time, many updates have been given in Mahindra Bolero Neo as compared to standard Bolero. Neo also has a new grille with new 3D chrome accents and 16-inch alloy wheels in dark metallic grey. Apart from the dual-tone black roof, Mahindra is also offering two new color options, Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey.

The Bolero Neo now also includes a new most expensive N11 variant which gets a new interior shade – Lunar Gray – along with many more features. All the other variants given below come with Mocha Brown cabin. The most expensive model also gets leatherette seat covers with better cushioning for comfort, a new 9-inch touchscreen, a Type-C USB port for charging and a reverse camera.

Engine and Transmission

Mechanically, there are no changes in both the Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo. The Bolero Neo is powered by the same 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine that produces 74 bhp and 210 Nm of peak torque. The Bolero Neo has a more powerful 1.5-litre mHawk100 engine which produces 99 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual transmission is standard in both models.

Actually, Multi-Terrain Mode is also available in Bolero Neo with N10 and N10 (O), but this feature is missing in the most expensive N11 trim. Both the SUVs are also claimed to get updates in suspension tuning as part of the Rideflow pack for better dynamics.
