BHPian nihal28 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:My Experience Of Owning A Suzuki KizashiThat 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission was the stuff that dreams are made of. Good grunt – especially when you pushed those revs! It was built solid. The doors closed with a ‘thunk’ akin to some German marques, the sheet metal was heavy – not the kind you can poke with a finger and deform, and she was rock steady at triple-digit speeds. And boy was she loaded. Came with cruise control, powered seats for the driver AND passenger, keyless entry and keyless start, dual climate control and a rear ac vent, projector headlamps and fog lamps. Safety wasn’t skimped either – it got discs all around, ABS, ESC and 6 Airbags. She was extremely reliable – never broke down or complained – despite the numerous bom-pune runs, catastrophic roads that she had to endure, or even the occasional fully loaded road trips we subjected her to. I did swap out the alloys to sportier-looking BBS rims and changed the rubber to match the international spec at 235/45/18, as I wasn’t necessarily a fan of the stock alloys mated to the narrower and higher profile tires. Made an almost immediate difference in handling – She would go wherever you pointed that nose. She was comfortable to the T – those seats cushioned you well – and I lost track of the number of times people seated in the car came away feeling like she was much more premium than you would expect. After many many miles, and 5 years of caring use, I decided to part ways with her. She gave us a lot to smile about and some lovely memories. The goodbye was rather emotional, and it felt like I was giving away a part of my soul. Given a chance, I’d want her back in the garage. If only there was space!Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
