Celebrity Stylist Neerraja Kona Is Making Her Directorial Debut With The Romantic Drama Telusu Kada, Which Features Siddu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty. TG Vishwa Prasad And Krithi Prasad under the Triangular Love Story Transcript.
When was Teleus Kada’s journey?
About one and a half years ago, Neerraja told me the idea. I found it exciting, and I told her we need to work on characterization since it is coming after Tillu Square. Many films succeeded because of strong characterizations. My character in Telusu Kada will be very strong. I believe my character will shock and surprise the audience.
Why was the trailer launch delayed?
I don’t know why the digital launch was delayed. Initially, we cut one trailer, and it was supposed to be released in Vizag. But since the event was canceled, we got time. We felt we could do much better and readied another trailer.
Yesterday, the event became controversial as a journalist asked you if you were a womanizer. Didn’t you understand it properly?
I heard the question well. What can I reply to such a disrespectful question? Just because people have a mike in their hands, they can’t ask such distasteful questions. The even more disappointing thing is that the lady was laughing after she asked that question. Such questions only reflect their inner self. I don’t want to give attention to such things.
Did you accept because the story has a unique element?
As I said earlier, the story is good, but I wanted the characterization to be stronger. No matter what the genre is, we’re ultimately telling stories that have been told before. What truly makes the difference is the characterization. Since stories keep repeating, I always give more prominence to how the characters are written and portrayed.
Don’t you think the unique point will be revealed on social media after the first show and spoil others’ experience?
The plot is simple with a good twist. Once people get to know it’s like a magic trick. When we see a magician perform, we will be in awe, but we don’t get the same feeling when we know that trick. But my role will keep people invested and offer a good experience.
Since you are involved in filmmaking, including writing, do you enjoy the film?
Unfortunately, I don’t have that surprise luxury since I already know what’s happening. When people watch and enjoy my writing, only then will I be pleased. It gives me satisfaction when I see my scenes strike a chord with the audience.
