Govt deposits Rs 2,223 cr to Indiramma scheme beneficiaries | Hyderabad News


done: arunHyderabad: VP Gautam, managing director of the Telangana Housing Corporation, on Tuesday announced that the state govt has deposited Rs 2,223 crore this year into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the Indiramma housing scheme. “Funds are released directly into beneficiaries’ accounts every Monday, based on the progress of construction work for each house. This week alone, Rs 252 crore was credited to 22,305 beneficiaries’ accounts. This is the largest amount released in a single week since the launch of the scheme,” Gautam said. With the latest disbursement, the total funds paid under the Indiramma Indlu scheme have reached Rs 2,233 crore. He added that construction under the scheme is progressing steadily, with approximately 2.18 lakh houses currently in various stages of completion across the state. “The govt is committed to ensuring timely financial support to beneficiaries, enabling them to complete their homes without delay,” Gautam added.
