Just three months after its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Maserati MCPura has now arrived in India. Along with this, the carmaker has also introduced its convertible version, MCPura Cielo. The MCPura is priced at Rs.4.12 crore, while the Cielo is priced at Rs.5.12 crore (ex-showroom). The MCPura is essentially a new version of the MC20 with some minor design changes, while the mechanical setup remains the same.

Design-wise, the most noticeable update is the redesigned front bumper, which Maserati says improves aerodynamic efficiency. New color options have also been added to MCPura, adding many new color options to its range. Apart from this, it also has newly designed alloy wheels which make it different from the previous model.
The new Maserati supercar stands out with its butterfly wing doors and retractable glass roof on the Cielo convertible. Inside, the layout is almost unchanged, although the seats are made of Alcantara with laser-etched detailing. Additionally, with the carbon fiber monocoque, Maserati claims the coupe weighs less than 1500 kg.
Talking about the powertrain, it has the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine which produces 621 bhp and 730 Nm torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and its maximum speed is 325 km/h. The MC20 has four driving modes: Sports, Corsa, GT and Wet.
