4 Govt Staffers Suspended in Suryapet for Failing to Attend Duty

Hyderabad: Suryapet district Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar has placed five government employees under suspension for remaining absent without applying for leave.

While conducting a surprise inspection at Tahsildar office at Munagala in the district on Thursday, Pawar found half of the staff absent in the office and sought an explanation from Tahsildar Saritha. He made it clear to the staff that stern action would be taken for dereliction of duty.

At the same time, the revenue staff would maintain punctuality while attending to duty and if anyone fails to adhere to it then it would be viewed seriously, he said. Pawar suspended Deputy Tahsildar, Mandal Planning and Statistical Officer, a junior assistant and record assistant for remaining absent without intimation.
