Nissan India has expanded its Magnite lineup by introducing CNG option with the automatic variant of this SUV. The Magnite EZ-Shift (AMT) CNG kit will be priced at Rs 72,000 and will be available for installation at the brand’s retrofitment centres. The price of AMT variant of Nissan Magnite ranges between Rs.6.16 lakh to Rs.8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in 6 trims including Kuro edition. The brand had launched the CNG option with the manual variant of this SUV earlier this year.

AMT is available in all trims of the SUV
In a significant change, the CNG filling valve is now integrated within the existing fuel-filler lid, which earlier took up the engine-compartment space. The CNG retrofitted Magnite will come with a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers and will be available in 13 states across the country. These include Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.

The AMT variant of Nissan Magnite is available with a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated engine which produces 71 bhp and 96 Nm torque. The CNG tank capacity in the single-cylinder layout is 12 kg, while the mileage is expected to remain the same as the manual, at 24 km/kg in the city and 30 km/kg on the highway. This SUV comes with 6 airbags as standard across all variants and has received a 5-star crash test rating for adult occupant protection from Global NCAP.
