River has introduced the new generation of the brand’s electric scooter, Indie Gen 3 with a number of updates to improve its overall rideability, technology and rider-friendly features. The third generation River Indy is priced at Rs 1,45,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and has been showcased at River’s new store in Delhi, a company-owned store and service centre, where a number of accessories for the River Indy electric scooter will also be available.

In a statement, the company said the Delhi store will act as a hub for River’s expansion in North India. The Indy Gen 3 features modern tires for better grip, a redesigned display with clearer information, integrated range and charging details, and improved app integration that gives ride statistics, hill-hold assist, customizable data points, and real-time charging status in multiple modes.
According to the brand, the updates to the Indy third generation deliver improved riding dynamics, improved connectivity and additional functionality, which have been developed based on rigorous internal tests and rider feedback. Recently, the company had announced an extended warranty program of 8 years/80,000 kms for the battery and motor of its flagship scooter. This extended warranty program was to be available to customers from October 1, 2025.
With the Delhi store, River EV now operates in 34 cities across India, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Coimbatore, Patna and Hubli. By March 2026, the company aims to increase its number of stores to 80, with expansion focused on key states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
