The new Skoda Octavia RS is now available in India at a price of Rs 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Octavia RS opened in the first week of October, and with only 100 units up for grabs, the car was sold out within a few days. Deliveries are set to commence on November 6. The new Octavia RS features a sporty design with a blacked-out grille, LED headlamps, dual exhaust, a lip spoiler, and 19-inch alloy wheels. It is available in five colour options: Velvet Red, Race Blue, Magic Black, Candy White, and Mamba Green. Inside, the Octavia RS gets a 3-spoke steering wheel and sports seats. The car comes loaded with advanced tech and features, including a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, 3-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, ADAS and more. The new Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 261 BHP and 370 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Skoda claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
