BHPian dhruvritzed recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Can only think of one car, I dreamt of buying this car during my 12th standard when one day I saw it in Autocar India in that cool azure color on the cover. Didn’t know I’d be blown away by the drive. Yes, it was tough to maintain, yes, failures were frequent, and yes, it was expensive as hell to run. But the smile it could plaster on your face on those underground tunnels while downshifting from 6th to 3rd, or the way I could redline it during COVID lockdowns, was just therapeutic.The ride quality was fantastic, especially on steel wheels; the steering was just the right thing when leather wrapped, and the interior had no screens, but who needs screens when you can forget the digital for driving nirvana.Like everything, I moved to a better car, supposedly, an Audi Q2, but expensive is not necessarily better, as I always thought.
