Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has been embroiled in a major case along with her husband Raj Kundra, facing allegations of cheating their business partner of Rs 60 crore.
Due to the ongoing case, she had sought permission from the court to travel abroad for work. However, she has now withdrawn her request.
Her lawyer informed the court that she may file a fresh application if her travel plans are revived in the future. Shilpa had recently approached the Bombay High Court, seeking approval to travel to the United States for a professional engagement, but her counsel stated on Thursday that those plans have been cancelled.
Reportedly, the court had declined to grant permission for her travel abroad unless she deposited Rs 60 crore as security. Following this condition, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra decided to withdraw their plea.
