Ravi Teja’s upcoming film “Mass Jathara” is all set to hit the screens on October 31. As the release date approaches, the team has ramped up promotions. In one of the promotional videos, producer Naga Vamsi and Ravi Teja sat down for a candid chat with director Kalyan Shankar, of Mad fame, who hosted the conversation.
During the interview, Naga Vamsi stated that “Mass Jathara” is designed to suit Ravi Teja’s image and will strictly follow the “mass meter.” He explained that deviating from that formula would likely backfire.
“People love watching stars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Ravi Teja in mass entertainers. They are established in that zone. If we make a Geethanjali or Ye Maaya Chesave with him, audiences simply won’t connect,” Naga Vamsi remarked.
Ravi Teja agreed, adding that he had experimented with films like Naa Autograph and Neninthe, but audiences didn’t embrace them. “It’s not that only mass films work, but they must stay within a certain meter and still be engaging,” he said.
The duo expressed confidence that “Mass Jathara,” directed by debutant Bhanu Bhogavarapu, will meet audience expectations and deliver the mass appeal fans look forward to.
