A camouflaged test mule of an upcoming van was recently spotted testing in India. It appears to be the C37 by Chinese automaker Dongfeng Sokon. The Dongfeng C37 is designed for both cargo and passenger transport. The van is based on a ladder-frame chassis. It measures 4.5 meters in length and has a boxy, utilitarian design, with a sliding rear door. Powering the C37 is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, which sends power to the rear axle. The van is equipped with rugged leaf springs in the rear. Now, it is unclear if Dongfeng is planning to introduce the C37 in the Indian market. I might also be here for component testing or benchmarking. Source:Rushlane
