The next-generation Bajaj Chetak is under development. A test mule, spied recently, revealed key design changes, including a hub-motor setup. The upcoming Chetak might switch to a hub-mounted motor design. The cost-effective setup could be offered at least on the entry-level model of the e-scooter. The design of the new Chetak looks familiar, though. It features an oval LED headlamp with an integrated LED DRL, an LCD instrument console, and clear lens taillights. The next iteration of Bajaj’s popular e-scooter is expected to be based on a new platform. It could be offered with multiple battery options, details of which are still unclear. The next-gen Bajaj Chetak e-scooter is expected to debut around the first quarter of 2026.Source:Rushlane
