Hyundai has taken the wraps off the new-gen Venue. Customers can now book the all-new compact SUV by paying an initial booking amount of Rs 25,000 at their nearest Hyundai dealership or online. Prices will be announced on November 4. The new Venue measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,665 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. It is 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than the outgoing model. The next-gen Venue features a brand-new design. It has a bold-looking front fascia with a rectangular grille. There are quad-beam LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs and an LED light bar. The front bumper has also been redesigned and now features a silver faux skid plate with black inserts. The rear features slim LED taillights connected by an LED lightbar, and the car rides on 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the new Venue gets a dual-tone interior in dark navy and dove grey shades. The car comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel, a coffee-table centre console, and ambient light. But more crucially, the new Venue has dual 12.3-inch screens housed within a panoramic display. Other features include 2-step reclining seats, rear window shades and rear AC vents. The Venue is available with three engine options. These include a 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a manual, an automatic and a dual-clutch transmission. Hyundai has adopted a new variant nomenclature for the Venue. The petrol version is available in HX 2, HX 4, HX 5, HX 6, HX 6T, HX 8 and HX 10 variants, while the diesel version comes in HX 2, HX 5, HX 7 and HX 10 trims. The new Venue will be offered in 6 monotone shades and two dual-tone colour options.
