Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro get a new stability improving update

A new firmware update has started rolling out to the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Currently, the update is only available in Samsung’s home country, South Korea. The update fixes some bugs and improves the overall stability of the wireless earbuds.

The new update comes with firmware version R530XXU0AYJ1 for the Galaxy Buds 3 and firmware version R630XXU0AYJ1 for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The update for the Galaxy Buds 3 has a download size of 7.3MB, while the one for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has a download size of around 8.27MB.

If you have either of those wireless earbuds from Samsung and live in South Korea, you can check for the new update by opening the Wearable app and navigating to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. Tap the Install now button once the update is downloaded.

However, if you have a phone that is running One UI 8.0, you have to connect your Galaxy Buds to your phone and then open the Settings app on your phone. Then, tap the Galaxy Buds name in the Settings app and then navigate to Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. Now, tap the Install now button once the update is downloaded.
