TVS Motor Company has recently launched its first adventure motorcycle, Apache RTX. The motorcycle is available in three variants: Base, Top and BTO (Built to Order). At the time of launch, the starting price of the base variant was Rs.1.99 lakh, the most expensive variant was Rs.2.14 lakh and the BTO variant was priced at Rs.2.29 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The company has now increased the price of the most expensive BTO variant by Rs 5,000, taking its new price to Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

The BTO variant of the Apache RTX differs from the other two lower variants with adjustable suspension at both ends, a brass-coated chain and a few other additional features. The color palette of this trim includes four options: Viper Green, Lightning Black, Metallic Blue and Tarn Brown.
Talking about the features, it has a 5.0-inch TFT display that displays full-screen smartphone mirroring, Google Maps navigation and key ride information. This bike has dual-purpose tires with 19-17-inch wheel setup. It has a curb weight of 180 kg, wheelbase of 1,430 mm, seat height of 835 mm, ground clearance of 200 mm and fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres.
This motorcycle is powered by an all-new 299.1 cc RT-XD4 engine, which was first introduced in the TVS Moto Sol 2024. This liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine produces 35.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. A bi-directional quickshifter is available as standard across all variants. It also has four riding modes: Urban, Tour, Rain and Rally.
