Ducati has launched the new Panigale V2 in India, with the standard version priced at Rs 19.12 lakh and the V2 S priced at Rs 21.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated motorcycle, which was presented at EICMA 2024, is coming to India almost a year after its global debut. The new Panigale V2 is lighter than before, has a sharp design and has updated hardware.

The Panigale V2 follows the same design language as the Panigale V4. New features in the bike include a new twin headlamp setup, sharp fairing lines and a newly designed tail section. Ducati says the styling updates are aimed at improving both air flow and rider ergonomics without adding too much bulk. Twin under-seat exhausts at the rear make it even better.

The motorcycle has a new 890 cc V-twin engine which produces 118 bhp and 93.3 Nm of torque. It is less than the previous model, but thanks to the new engine its weight has reduced by 9 kg. The engine continues to use a 6-speed gearbox with quickshifter, and the motorcycle is now compliant with E20 fuel standards for the Indian market.

The chassis setup remains the same, with an aluminum monocoque frame and two-way swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm Marzocchi USD fork at the front and a KYB monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable. In the V2 S variant, these have been replaced with a fully adjustable Ohlins setup.
Braking management is done by two front discs and a single rear disc with Brembo monobloc M50 callipers. The new V2 weighs 179 kg, down from 193 kg of the previous model, while the V2 S weighs another 3 kg less.

The motorcycle now comes with a 5-inch TFT display that offers a host of accessories for the rider. These include cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and cruise control as well as four riding modes: Race, Sport, Road and Wet.
