Suzuki Fronx Flex Fuel concept showcased in Japan; can run on E85 Suzuki has showcased the Fronx FFV concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. ‘FFV’ is short for ‘Flexible Fuel Vehicle’. It is compatible with E85 fuel, which is essentially petrol with 85% ethanol content. The Fronx FFV concept measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height. On the outside, it looks exactly like the standard Fronx that is available in India, except for the flashy graphics. The black alloy wheels also look identical to those offered on the India-spec car. In India, Maruti Suzuki offers the Fronx with two engine options. These include a 1.2-litre K-series Dual Jet that makes 89 BHP and 113 Nm and a 1.0-litre K-series Boosterjet turbo-petrol unit that puts out 99 BHP and 148 Nm. Interestingly, the Japanese version comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Suzuki’s AllGrip Select AWD system is also available as an option. Suzuki hasn’t revealed the technical details of the Fronx FFV.
