The all-new Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV is all set to make its global debut on 27th November, 2025. It’s essentially the 7-seater version of the XEV 9e, which was previously referred as Mahindra XEV 7e.
Similar to the XEV 9e and BE 6, this new Mahindra 7-seater electric SUV will underpin the INGLO skateboard platform. It will be positioned against the BYD Atto 3 and Tata Harrier EVand estimated to be priced around Rs 21 lakh for the base variant. While the product details will be revealed officially in the coming weeks, here’s what we know so far.
Mahindra XEV 9S Battery & Range
The new Mahindra 7-seater electric SUV is likely to share its powertrains with the XEV 9e, which is currently available with two battery options – 59kWh and 79kWh. The smaller battery version uses a 307bhp electric motor and delivers a claimed range of 435km, while the larger battery variant is available with a 378bhp motor and offers a range of 540km. The range figures for the new XEV 9S are expected to be over 500km per charge.

Mahindra XEV 9S Design Details
The new Mahindra 7-seater electric SUV will have silhouette similar to the XUV700, while its design language will share resemblance with the XEV 9e. Upfront, the new XEV 9S will feature a blanked-off grille, triangular LED headlamps and full-width LED strip. The SUV will also sport new aero-optimized alloy wheels, pronounced wheel arch cladding, flush door handles, connected LED taillamps and revised rear bumper.
