Mass Jatara is a movie directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and young heroine Srileela. The premiere shows of this movie took place today. And let’s go to the review and find out how much this movie pleased!
Story:
Laxman Bheri (Ravi Teja) is a sincere railway police officer. A person who tries to prevent injustice even if it is not in his power. As his parents separated at an early age, he is brought up by his grandfather (Rajendra Prasad). Laxman Bheri, who has a good track record as a railway police, gets transferred to a village called Adivaram. Shiva (Naveen Chandra) grows ganja and does illegal activities in that village. In the background of some dramatic developments in this sequence, Lakshman stands in the way of Shiva’s actions. Who is behind the real Lord Shiva? What efforts did Laxman Bheri make to stop their illegal activities? Finally, what kind of twists and turns did this story take? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Ravi Teja as usual in this Mass Jatara movie also acted very well with his dialogue delivery, his body language and some emotional and action sequences. Vintage Ravi Teja is seen at some places. Ravi Teja fans will like this movie. And Srileela, who acted as the heroine, looked beautiful in her cute and homely looks and impressed with her performance. Naveen Chandra played the role of the villain very well. Ajay Ghosh, who played another key role, acted very well.
Rajendra Prasad who played the role of grandfather in this movie also impressed with his performance. Also Sr. Naresh, Praveen, VTV Ganesh, Hyper Adi and the rest of the actors also acted well in the scope of their roles. In this movie, the track related to ganjai bags.. and the other characters who are connected with that track.
Minus Points:
Bhanu Bhogavarapu, who designed Ravi Teja’s role and the scenes for that character Taluk well, did not write the same level of treatment in this film. He failed to write an interesting story especially in the second half. Some scenes feel slow and regular. It would have been better if the mind game between the hero and the villain had been built more interestingly.
Except in the climax, the story lacked interest at some places. Although the story could have been made more interesting, the director ended the film in his own style. Although Nandu’s dialogues, hero Ravi Teja’s characterization and some action scenes are good, the movie feels average. The movie would have been better if the villain character had been written more strongly along with the second half screenplay.
Technical Department:
Although director Bhanu Bhogavarapu was impressed with his take, he could not write the screenplay in a fully impressive way for the story line taken. The background score in the movie should have been better. Music director Bheems Cicerolio’s songs are not to be missed. Cinematography is also good. Most of the scenes in the movie have been shot very beautifully. When it comes to editing.. Editor Naveen Nuli had to reduce some of the stretched scenes here and there. Producers Suryadevara Nagavanshi and Sai Saujanya have made this film without any compromise. Their production values are very good.
Verdict:
In this movie called ‘Mass Jatara’ as a mass action entertainer.. Ravi Teja’s acting and his characterization and action scenes as well as mass elevations are good. However, things like the slow and regular screenplay and some routine scenes are the minuses of the movie. Overall Ravi Teja’s performance and some commercial elements only connect in this film.
