Telangana BJP accuses Congress govt of failing on all fronts, releases charge sheet | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Stating that Congress’ symbol, the hand (Abhaya Hastham), has become “Bhasmasura Hastham (destructive hand)”, BJP Telangana released a charge sheet against the Congress govt on Saturday.Speaking at the event, BJP state president N Ramachander Rao accused Congress of not fulfilling promises made during the 2023 assembly elections. He said the charge sheet contains issues of Congress govt’s failures, inefficiency, and deceitful tactics of the Revanth Reddy govt in the last 23 months.“Congress, in its 60-page manifesto released before the 2023 elections, had included 420 promises, 13 key pledges, and a commitment to implement six guarantees within 100 days after coming to power. But now 1,000 days have passed, and not even a single promise has been fulfilled,” the BJP state chief said.He alleged that the Congress govt has failed on all fronts as students were suffering due to delayed fee reimbursement, Arogyasri services in hospitals were not being properly delivered to patients due to crores of rupees in arrears to hospitals pending, and the farmers’ condition was pathetic as the “loan waiver” was yet to be implemented. Now, they were questioning whether they should “waive off” the Congress govt instead, he added.“The Congress govt is focusing on vote bank politics instead of resolving public issues,” Ramchander Rao said.BJLP leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy said Congress has no right to ask for votes in the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency as it has completely failed in fulfilling even one of the 420 promises it made during its 23 months of rule. He said the CM has stooped to such a level of blackmail campaign that he was scaring people by stating that “if you don’t vote for Congress candidate, 2,000 pension will be cut, 25,000 ration cards will be cancelled, and free rice will not be distributed.Chevalla MP Konda Vishwashwer Reddy, Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, MLA Payal Shakar, party general secretary Gautam Rao, BJP state Kisan Morcha president Basva Narasaiah, and others were present.
