The Maruti Suzuki Arena Hyderabad Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, in collaboration with DreamHack India, concluded its three-day spectacle at the Hitex Exhibition Centre from October 31 to November 2, attracting over 40,000 attendees, including more than 400 cosplayers.
Organized by Comic Con India under the aegis of NODWIN Gaming, the event celebrated comics, anime, gaming, and cosplay, featuring international guests such as Mike Costa, the writer and executive producer behind Netflix’s Lucifer, and artist J. Gonzo, famed for his work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghost Rider, and Aliens.
Seventeen Indian comic artists, nine performers, and over 80 exhibitors provided interactive experiences for fans. Highlights included Maruti Suzuki’s reflex game, Crunchyroll’s anime booth, Android Land’s PANFEST for BGMI enthusiasts, and VR experiences by Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle. Attendees also enjoyed the Running Man Rage Room, Predator Badlands Zone, and Zootopia 2 Zone.

The convention hosted the Hyderabad Qualifiers of the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2026, where Pracheta Banerjee emerged victorious, winning ₹50,000 and earning a spot in the national finals.
DreamHack India celebrated its sixth anniversary, India’s largest digital festival featuring retro gaming zones, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) areas, KO Fight Night, and chess tournaments. KMR YoshiKiller won the Tekken 8 KO Fight Night prize of ₹1,00,000, while JLQ Hallmark triumphed in Super Smash Bros, winning ₹40,000. Fans met gaming personalities like Scout, Kaashvi, Sensei IGL, Ghatak Trace GOD, and popular creators from Red Bull and GodLike, including Jonathan, V3nom, Zgod, Sharkshe, Bachu, Dobby Mizo, and Payal. Rob, aka Harun Robert of M.A.D., also engaged fans at the Red Bull Tetris National Finals.
Performances by Syed Bashaar, Vivek Muralidharan, Karan Singh, Celinedee Matahari, Kayden Sharma, MC Maahaa, Black Diamond, Geek Fruit, and Team Artista added to the vibrant atmosphere.

Following Hyderabad, Comic Con India will debut its first-ever Guwahati edition on November 22-23, 2025, marking its expansion into India’s Northeast.
