The North American market has become a key territory for Telugu cinema, often contributing Rs 20–40 crore in gross collections for successful films. Recognizing this, several top stars have been focusing on the region. And now, Ram Pothineni is joining that league with renewed vigor.
Once a strong performer in the US market, Ram’s recent mass-centric films didn’t quite connect with overseas audiences. However, with his upcoming film “Andhra King Taluka,” he aims to reclaim his position.
In an exciting move, the film will have early premiere shows in the USA on November 26, two days ahead of its worldwide release. Even more special, Ram Pothineni himself will be ttending the premieres in person.
The overseas distribution firm Prathyangira announced:
“For the first time ever, the USA is all set to feel the electric ENERGY! Energetic Star @ramsayz is coming to the US for #AndhraKingTaluka as one of us, with all of us… Early premieres on Nov 26.”
Directed by Mahesh Babu P, “Andhra King Taluka” stars Ram Pothineni and Bhaghyashri Borse in lead roles, with Kannada superstar Upendra playing a pivotal part. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film on a grand scale.
