BHPian silverBOT recently shared this with other enthusiasts: While fiddling with the headlights I discovered the car had a roots relay installed, traced it to its roots (pun intended) and discovered the original socket plugged the existing bulb to it and voila! it was working just fine. I wanted to revert the headlights back to factory setting but that was when I discovered that the headlight connector on the driver side was cut out and taped up. I then gave her the relay upgrade she deserved and installed a 130/110 Philips relay with similar wattage Lumax headlamp bulbs (had purchased it months back with the intend to upgrade some day). The previous bulbs were mismatched it had Philips 100/90 on one side and fake Bosch ones on the other side. After that I angled the headlamp housing downwards so as to not blind the oncoming traffic. Now the visibility is great and I’m satisfied I have also a wired a rear fog (I had purchased this months back too) to the brakes as I thought it would be good for the car to have a 3rd brake light (In reality I am bad at wiring and DIY and went for the easier and comparatively sensible alternative) Silverbot Attaching pics of the car, sorry its a bit dirty: Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
