Giannis Antetokounmpo’s history with the Indiana Pacers
- Tyrese Haliburton’s father, John Haliburton, taunted Antetokounmpo on the court after the Pacers eliminated the Bucks in the 2025 playoffs. John Haliburton was kept away from Pacers for several games.
- Antetokounmpo fouled Haliburton on a 3-point shot in the closing seconds of a March 11, 2025, game, and the ensuing free throw gave the Pacers a 115-114 win.
- Antetokounmpo scored a Bucks-record 64 points in a win over the Pacers on Dec. 13, 2023, then got into a scuffle with them over possession of the game ball. Indiana wanted Oscar Tshiebwe, who scored his first career points in that game, to have it. Antetokounmpo charged the Indiana locker room to get it. In the end, the Pacers had taken the backup game ball, leaving the actual one for Antetokounmpo.
