Bandla Ganesh gives half-hearted clarification on his comments

Producer Bandla Ganesh recently stirred controversy with his remarks at the success meet of “K-Ramp.” While heaped praise on Kiran Abbavaram, he appeared to take a dig at Vijay Deverakonda, saying that “some stars wear new footwear, goggles at night, and greet fans with ‘wassap wassap boys.’”

The comments quickly went viral, drawing criticism from Vijay Deverakonda’s fans and several journalists, who condemned the unnecessary targeting.

Meanwhile, a section of fans from rival camps found amusement in his remarks, as they have long been critical of the Arjun Reddy star’s persona and popularity.

Facing backlash, Bandla Ganesh took to social media to issue what seemed like a half-hearted clarification, claiming he hadn’t targeted anyone. His post, filled with rhetoric about how everyone should seek the blessings of “Kalamathalli” (the Mother Film Industry), appeared more like a damage-control attempt than a genuine explanation, aimed at toning down the controversy.

His statement reads: “It has come to my attention that some people were hurt by the words I spoke at the success meet of K Ramp. I want to clarify that I did not refer to anyone in particular. My only intention was to express that everyone in the industry should do well and rise high with the blessings of Kalamathalli.”
