In late September 2025, Aprilia announced that it will bear the GST 2.0 related price increase, keeping the base price of the Tuono 457 at Rs.3.95 lakh. However, the RS 457 saw an increase of Rs 15,000, although this increase was balanced by the addition of a bi-directional quickshifter. A few months later, the brand has now silently updated the prices of both the models and the 457 twins have seen a price increase.

The RS 457 is now priced at Rs 4.50 lakh, which is Rs 15,000 more than its previous price of Rs 4.35 lakh (pre-GST 2.0 price – Rs 4.20 lakh). Its second model, the Tuono 457, has also become costlier by Rs.29,000 and is now priced at Rs.4.24 lakh compared to Rs.3.95 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Furthermore, Aprilia has not yet released any official statement regarding the reason for the price increase.

Both the Tuono 457 and RS 457 are powered by the same 457 cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 47 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and both models are equipped with a slipper clutch. Additionally, both models share the same electronic rider aids, which include three ride modes, traction control and ABS.

On the other hand, Aprilia has given the RS 457 a MochoGP makeover by introducing the GP Replica variant at EICMA 2025. The RS 457 GP Replica features the official RS-GP MotoGP team livery and factory sponsor decals with red and silver accents. On the other hand, the Tuono 457 has also got a new livery, which was introduced at the Milan Motor Show.
