Hyderabad: A car overturned after hitting a divider and burst into flames at Gudrampally in Chityal mandal of Nalgonda district on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada NH-65. All eight occupants managed to escape and run to safety, though some sustained minor burn injuries. They were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.The incident occurred when the car, travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad, crashed into the divider. The impact was such that, the vehicle flipped several times before coming to a halt. Sparks from the engine ignited fire, and leaking fuel caused the entire car to go up in flames. Fire personnel rushed to the scene and managed to douse the blaze.Local police arrived soon after and cleared the mangled remains of the car from the road. The mishap caused a traffic jam on the ever-busy NH 65.
