Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday stated that if Maganti Sunitha wins the Jubilee Hills bypoll, it will be known whether A Revanth Reddy will serve as chief minister for three years or just three months. He made these comments at a roadshow in Yousufguda, stating that Revanth Reddy claims Congress will remain in power for another three years. He noted that leaders from Khammam and Nalgonda were already preparing for action in Delhi. KTR urged voters to “fold up that chair…”, in a paradoy of a recent Telugu hit song, in the upcoming elections, indicating a desire for change.Lambasting Congress, he said that the party failed to fulfill its promises and asserted that voters should teach them a lesson. He also alleged that Mohd Azharuddin was given a ministerial position out of fear of defeat. KTR appealed to the voters in Jubilee Hills to give BRS another chance, promising to take care of their needs with utmost attention. He alleged that Congress was demolishing Indiramma houses and that bulldozers arrive at the homes of the poor on weekends. Thousands of houses were demolished in two years, he added. KTR questioned whether anyone would vote for those who demolish houses in the name of Indiramma Rajyam. He urged voters to support the car symbol to stop the bulldozer and reiterated that “if Maganti Sunitha is elected, KCR will return as chief minister in 500 days”.Stating that the chief minister was threatening to stop schemes if people do not vote for Congress, he said that BRS would question them. “Rowdies are threatening people. What would happen if Congress wins,” he asked. He claimed that conspiracies were being hatched against Sunitha and Congress leaders were distributing money for votes, with commissions being taken even from the money sent by Revanth Reddy.
