After the National Award-winning Colour Photo and the blockbuster Bedurulanka 2012, producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments returns with another powerful and thought-provoking film — Dhandoraa, written and directed by Murali Kanth.
Currently in the final stages of production, the makers have officially confirmed that Dhandoraa will release worldwide on December 25, promising an intense and meaningful close to the year.
The announcement poster — featuring a freshly dug grave with the release date etched inside — has sparked curiosity for its striking visual symbolism. Its tone, both haunting and emotional, hints at a story rich in depth and relevance.
Set in rural Telangana, Dhandoraa tackles the sensitive issue of caste discrimination, exploring the struggles of those who dare to question social hierarchies. The film is said to blend satire, emotion, and earthy humour, offering a grounded reflection on traditions, identity, and resilience.
With its compelling narrative, strong performances, and social consciousness, Dhandoraa promises to be an impactful cinematic experience when it arrives in theatres this Christmas, December 25.
The film features an ensemble cast including Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounica Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Raadhya, and Aditi Bhavaraju in pivotal roles.
