FB Mondial will knock in India again in IBW

FB Mondiale is one of the oldest two-wheeler brands in the world. Hailing from Milan, Italy, the brand is 95 years old and has unfortunately been shut down and restarted more than once. Currently owned by the Piaggio Group, the brand previously had its presence in India under Kinetic’s Motoroyal division, but it ceased operations following the closure of Motoroyal in 2020. Fast forward to 2025, the brand has once again announced its return to India at the India Bike Week in December, this time under the Motohouse banner, which currently sells the Brixton and VLF.

The brand’s comeback will be marked by the launch of the Piega 452, which is a naked streetfighter style motorcycle and is already on sale in the European markets. The design of this motorcycle is unique and its edges are aggressive and sharp. It has a compact tail section and prominent tank extensions, but the most striking feature of this motorcycle is its single-sided swingarm and twin underseat exhausts.

The Pyga 452 is powered by a 449.5 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 47.6 bhp of maximum power and 39 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. As for other parts, the motorcycle gets a 41 mm USD at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock. There are 17-inch wheels on both sides of the bike and there are disc brakes on both the wheels with Brembo callipers. The Pyga 452 has features like color TFT display for instrumentation, switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control.

Motohouse will manage operations for FB Mondial in India and provide a platform for the sale of motorcycles through its dealership network.
