CPMC (Aoocci) – Z55B Pro: Overview and installation

CPMC (Aoocci) – Z55B Pro: Overview and installation BHPian dkaile recently shared this with other enthusiasts:CPMC (Aoocci) – Z55B Pro – Wireless Android Auto / CarPlay for MotorcyclesSo I was already using Aoocci C6 Pro on my BMW R-1250 GSA since almost a year, full review here, and it was working quite well. So one fine day, when I was in Dublin recently, these Aoocci guys contacted me by email and said they have launched a new product under the brand CPMC and wanted to send me a review unit. HOWEVER, I clearly told them that I will only post opinion which I feel is true and if there are cons to the product those will be highlighted too. They were quite agreeable and wanted only a fair review. The product homepage is thisOverview -So one fine morning, I received this package at my Dublin address on 03-07-2025 – The packaging was quite nice – These are all the features of this product. The special highlight of this product was that it had BSD or Blind Spot Detection by a Millimeter Wave Radar which was included in this package. it also had – – Wireless Android Auto and Carplay – It had a fantastic build quality, much better than the C6 Pro. – It’s screen was 5.5″, so size was more compact than the 6″ C6 Pro, just like the ultra costly Chigee product (50k). – It’s brightness was supposedly 1000 nits but it seemed slightly brighter than the C6 – The main highlight of this product that it had a Quick Release System inbuilt, and was supplied with a Quick Release Mount in the box and also the mounting hardware was all CNC based unlike the ABS one I had received with the C6 Pro (which they have upgraded to CNC later) – It had 2 1080p Dual cameras, same as C6 – 2x Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (optional on C6) – IP67 waterproof – Dual Band Wifi and Bluetooth – Anti-Vibration mounts – Dual Core A53 processor – Higher quality UV protected connectors and cables The top had a nice motorcycle logo highlighting it’s use case scenario – The product unboxed – And all it’s accessories – The build quality was very much higher than the C6 pro and mixture of alloy and ABS – Closer look at the default metal alloy mount. Notice the Theft Proof mounting screws – I reached back to India, and it had to be bench tested as always – The Quick Release Mount that was to be attached – And now attached – This was another highlight, that it came with a quick release type, very high quality, UV protected cable with metal connector rings – The Front and Rear Cameras. Little bigger in size than C6 Pro and metal alloy build. Note that the Rear Camera has a longer cable length – Wired Remote Control, much better than a Bluetooth one for a stable connection – MAJOR CON – This unit did NOT have GPS inbuilt like the C6 Pro and a separate GPS unit had to be attached, which was a pain. But I found it was catching GPS in Wireless Android Auto without GPS unit, directly from the phone and this unit was an additional supplement for GPS accuracy and GPS tagging in photos – This was the Millimeter Wave Radar Unit called the BSD or Blind Spot Detection unit. Though they highlighted this feature, I have mixed feelings about this, which I will highlight later – Front and Rear TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Units) with theft resistant bolts – The main power unit with 3 cables – 12V (+) to battery, 12V (+) to ACC and (-). I did not use this cable and instead used a direct USB connection, as on my BMW – And this was the Additional USB Power Cable for alternate power supply and a 64GB Micro SD card for video recording was also included – And this was (fantastic built) Metal Alloy Mount with PVC brackets for different handlebar sizes – and additional L-Bracket was supplied for installing the Wired Remote – As also a additional Z-Bracket for mounting the unit to the rear view mirror – Complete Tools were provided for mounting the unit – And they offered a discount of 30% on the price to all TeamBhpians, on all their products on their website, by coupon code – “TeamBhp30” . DISCLAIMER – Kindly buy or use this product at your own discretion. I will highlight points, only that I feel true. And I have NO ECONOMIC INTEREST in the same. Installation on my Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the following post ~ Cheers.Continue reading BHPian dkaile’s post for more insights and information.
