Telangana continues to experience biting cold as temperatures dipped further across several districts. The lowest temperature of 8.1°C was recorded in Kohir (Sangareddy) and Yala (Vikarabad).
Across the State, minimum temperatures remained below 14°C, with 11 districts recording below 10°C, indicating the onset of intense winter conditions in mid-November.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its latest bulletin issued on Saturday (November 15, 2025), predicted that chilly weather is likely to persist through the weekend. Minimum temperatures are expected to remain 3°C to 4°C below normal in isolated areas over the next two to three days.
Even the Hyderabad region is not spared from the cold wave. The Serilingampally area in Rangareddy district recorded a minimum of 9.8°C, followed by Medchal at 11.9°C and Maredpally (Hyderabad) at 12.6°C. Despite the presence of sunshine during the day, the mornings remained cold, and fog blanketed several areas during the early hours and evenings.
“Minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 4°C to 5°C during the next two to three days,” the IMD forecast added, cautioning residents to brace for continued chilly mornings and foggy conditions across Hyderabad and adjoining districts.
