I have written a detailed travelogueon this trip too, but sharing a short summary here in this ownership thread. The approximate route map: Sunset in Mahabar Sand Dunes, near Barmer: One the dreamy desert highways of Rajasthan: Entering Suryagarh, where we had a memorable Diwali experience: In Thar Desert: We drove all the way to the India-Pakistan border near Tanot: At the Indo-Pak Border Arch: The highlight of the drive was driving on such lovely desert roads: Desert Highway NH70: We stayed in some scenic desert resorts: Sunset over a quaint desert camp: Sunrise over Sand Dunes: One of my favorite photos from this trip: The car did absolutely great! We handled all sorts of conditions, including some absolutely terrible road sections, some crazy traffic jams, tons of rains and rainy conditions in the return drive, and overall, thousands of km of beautiful highways on the most part of the drive. The car handled everything well. Thankfully, I had absolutely no issues. Not even a puncture! Not just that the car was extremely reliable, it was quite fun to drive too. I really enjoyed those highway drives. And further, it was quite fuel efficient too. I consistently got range of 800km+ on the highways, which meant we had fewer refueling stops and need not have to worry about finding fuel stations in remote areas. Once filled, I could easily cruise 800km on those lovely desert highways without worry. Overall, a very memorable trip and we had a great time with this car. At the end of the 5200km drive, with dust and mud carried from five states: Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
