The management of Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TGNPDCL) has suspended three assistant linemen (ALMs) working in the Jagityal Circle Town-I section office following the finding that the three ALMs had a liquor party within the office premises.
According to Divisional Engineer of Jagityal, Gangaram, a preliminary inquiry had found that the three ALMs — A. Prabhakar, G. Balakrishna and V. Rajashekhar — had a party within the office premises and consumed liquor.
Chairman and Managing Director of the TGNPDCL K. Varun Reddy cautioned the Discom employees against taking part in any unlawful activity, particularly at the workplaces. Those violating the discipline would not be spared and they would be removed from duties immediately and an advisory memo was also being issued in this regard.
