Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby are teaming up for the second time. Their earlier collaboration, Waltair Veerayya, was a massive hit, and their new project, which currently known as #Mega158, was announced recently. The team is now gearing up to begin the regular shoot.
Cinematographer Nimish Ravi, who recently worked on the Malayalam blockbuster “Lokah Chapter 1,” has joined the film as Director of Photography. He shared an image of the bound script of #Mega158 on Instagram, and interestingly, the script page features a line written in Bengali.
The Bengali text translates to “the sword has sworn in blood.”
This single line has sparked excitement among fans, prompting them to recall Megastar’s earlier blockbusters set in Kolkata, such as Choodalani Undi. On the other hand, some are expressing fatigue over the repeated use of a Bengali backdrop in Chiranjeevi’s films, pointing out that Bholaa Shankar too was set in Kolkata.
What Bobby is planning this time remains a mystery, but the hint certainly suggests a violent, action-driven setting.
KVN Productions is bankrolling the film.
