Here’s the yet another teaser of the upcoming Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV, which is slated to make global debut on 27th November, 2025. The latest teaser confirms presence of the ‘Boss Mode’ feature, which allows the front passenger seat to be electronically adjusted at the push of a button and free up additional legroom for rear seat passengers. This feature enhances chauffeur-driven comfort and experience. It’s already offered on the Tata Harrier EV and Safari SUVs.

The Mahindra XEV 9S will come with a triple screen setup consisting of a touchscreen infotainment, a digital driver’s display and a front passenger screen. It will also offer a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, dual zone climate control, a powered driver’s seat, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless charging pad, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and many more features.

Essentially XUV700 EV
Based on the INGLO platform, the upcoming XEV 9S is the 7-seater electric version of the XUV700, sharing design elements, features, components and powertrains with the XEV 9e. The teaser pictures reveal that the EV will feature a closed-off grille, LED headlamps and connected LED DRLs at the front end. Other design highlights will include aero-optimized wheels and LED taillamps.
Powertrain To Be Shared with XEV 9e
As mentioned above, the Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to borrow powertrains from the XEV 9e. This means, it will come with the 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, delivering power worth 231bhp with 380Nm and 286bhp with 380Nm, respectively. The smaller battery pack returns a driving range of 542km, while the larger battery version offers 656km per charge.
Mahindra BE Rall-E Launch On 26th Nov
The Mahindra BE Rall-E will be an off-road ready electric SUV, slated to launch on 26th November 2025. The production-ready version will retain most of the design elements from the concept, and borrow several features from the BE 6. Once launched, it will go up against the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Tata Sierra EV and the Maruti e Vitara.
