BHPian ribsofman recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Quote from BHPian car_guy1998:Folks,Did anyone own the BE6 59kw variant? And, what is the range you guys are getting from 100% to 0% of charge? As far as I heard, it is giving the range 400-420 Kms. Is it true, or am I exaggerating?Hey! I have a BE6 Pack 3 SELECT variant which has a 59KW battery. And you are right about the range. But it all depends on the driving and the terrain. I have got 448 kms range when I travelled from Bangalore to Pondicherry and in this route I will be getting down from 920m above sea level to 9m above sea level. You can see the below image where I started at 100% SOC and covered 296 kms with 34% charge left. But when I travelled back to Bangalore, I got around 374 kms range (started with 100% SOC and covered 310 kms with 17% charge left. Though the driving style was same, the consumption will be more due to elevation difference between two cities. During both the journeys, I was driving very conservative, within speed limits, light on the foot and manually handling regen based on the situation. This travel was just to understand the maximum range I could trust my car with, and it was no fun to drive that way. The car is a different beast altogether if you forget the range and squeeze out all the BHP it has! Now I am having fun in race mode during highway drives without worrying about the range.
