Hyderabad: The state govt is gearing up to transform the upcoming Telangana Rising-2047 Global Summit into a showcase of its development vision, with an extended three-day public exhibition at Future City after the event concludes. Once the summit ends on Dec 8 and 9, the public will be allowed to visit Future City on Dec 10, 11 and 12 to view detailed documents outlining Telangana’s long-term growth plans. Special bus services from district headquarters are also being considered to facilitate public participation. Over the past two days, ministers and senior officials have held review meetings, directing all departments to submit reports on achievements of the past two years and their future goals.War room at Praja BhavanThe Indian School of Business has been tasked with consolidating these reports into a single comprehensive document, complete with visuals. A war room has already been set up at Praja Bhavan to oversee the compilation process. The Global Summit itself will be held at Future City, themed ‘Telangana Rising-2047.’ Nearly 2,000 international delegates are expected to take part. Though the area is currently an open, levelled tract of land, the govt is setting up temporary but modern infrastructure for the event, including large conference halls capable of accommodating up to 4,000 participants. Catering plans are underway to present a diverse range of cuisines to welcome global representatives, and around 500 rooms in five-star hotels have already been secured. By early next month, Future City is expected to transform into a high-tech venue ready to host global industrialists, business leaders, and major corporates. During the summit, the govt will present its progress over the past two years and unveil its long-term development blueprint under Vision 2047.
