Vijayawada: Durga Temple EO VK Seena Naik ordered the removal of four private security staff belonging to Agile Security Organisation due to dereliction of their duties. The EO issued orders removing Agile Security Officer A Sai Kumar, along with security supervisors Rajesh Naik, Sridhar, and Ramesh Naik, from temple security duties. He instructed the Agile Security Agency and the temple assistant executive officer (AEO) to take immediate action against the said staff on Friday.On Friday, representatives of Agile Security Agency met Seena Naik and reported the negligent attitude of the four security personnel while discharging their duties at the temple premises. They recommended their immediate removal from their jobs. On this occasion, the EO stated that he would not compromise on temple security-related issues and asked the security agency to deploy new security personnel in place of those who were removed.The EO also emphasised the need for having a temple security officer on behalf of the temple. He mentioned that the issues would be discussed with the temple board chairman and would be brought to the notice of the endowment commissioner.
