After a long wait, Tata Motors’ awaited SUV Sierra is finally going to make its comeback in the Indian market tomorrow i.e. on 25th November. This vehicle is returning to the market after ten years and this time it is coming in an even more powerful form and with this tomorrow Tata Motors will share complete information about the price, engine options, features and delivery date of Sierra. This vehicle is going to compete directly with SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Design
The exterior design of Sierra has already been made public. It was completely showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The design of Sierra is in a strong box shape. The flat hood and straight front face make it look like a traditional SUV. LED DRLs, sharp headlights and black grille make the front special.
Black cladding has been given on the sides of the vehicle which gives a rough look. 19 inch alloy wheels make it stylish. At the rear, there are connected LED taillights, black bumper and silver skid plates.

Sierra is likely to come in six colours. Pristine White, Pure Grey, Coorg Clouds, Bengal Rouge, Andaman Adventure and Munnar Mist.
Features

The most striking feature inside is its TheatrePro triple-screen setup spread across the dashboard. This setup is made up of three different screens. The first screen is the digital gauge cluster in front of the driver. The second big screen is the infotainment unit in the middle. The third screen is mounted separately towards the co-driver.
This setup of three screens is likely to come in the upper variants. A normal layout of two screens can be given in the lower and mid-priced variants. The first screen will be digital gauge and the second will be infotainment.
The steering wheel is taken from Harrier EV. In this, the Tata logo remains illuminated which looks good at night. There is a possibility of wireless Android Auto in the cabin. Apple CarPlay can also be provided. There is a possibility of automatic AC. There is a possibility of cooling feature in the front seats.
There is a possibility of JBL’s premium option in the sound system. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts and level-2 ADAS in upper models.
engine options
Sierra is likely to come with two different engine options which will give buyers a chance to choose as per their choice. For the petrol segment, Tata will provide a new 1.5 liter turbo-petrol engine which has been named Hyperion.
For buyers who want diesel, a 2.0 liter turbo-diesel engine is likely to arrive. This engine is already being used in vehicles like Harrier and Safari. Therefore its reliability and stability has already been proven.
Talking about transmission, the Sierra is likely to come with a manual gearbox which will be perfect for people who want a traditional driving experience. There may also be an option of automatic transmission which will prove to be very comfortable in city traffic. The exact transmission option and engine combination will be clarified at tomorrow’s official launch event.
price
The starting price of Tata Sierra is likely to be around Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the entry level price which can attract new buyers. The upper and premium variants can go above the Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. The exact price structure and detailed pricing of each variant will be announced at the official launch event on November 25 only.
