Director Puri Jagannadh, known for completing shoots at breakneck speed, has wrapped up his new film starring Vijay Sethupathi. Currently referred to as #PuriSethupathi, the film features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.
The team released a cheerful and emotional video showing moments between Puri Jagannadh, Vijay Sethupathi, and Charmme Kaur, officially announcing the completion of the shoot. In the video, Vijay Sethupathi says he will deeply miss working with Puri and the entire unit, calling the journey memorable and joyful.
The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Connects, along with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Mohan Pictures. Samyuktha plays the female lead, while Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar appear in key roles. Harshavardhan Rameshwar of Animal fame is composing the music.
“Slumdog” is the title under consideration, and the first look and official title will be unveiled soon.
This is Vijay Sethupathi’s first Telugu film in a lead role although he featured in a couple of Telugu films in supporting roles before.
