3rd-gen Honda Amaze scores 5 stars in Bharat NCAP crash test The third-generation Honda Amaze has been awarded a 5-star rating by Bharat NCAP. The compact sedan scored 28.33/32 points for adult occupant protection and 40.81/49 points for child occupant protection. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the Amaze offered good protection to the head, neck, and lower body of the driver and passenger. Chest protection for the driver was rated as adequate. The car offered good protection overall to the passenger. In the side movable barrier test, the Amaze offered good protection to the head and lower body. Chest protection was rated as marginal. The side pole impact test showed good protection for the occupants. Dynamic tests were conducted with the use of child restraint systems. The Amaze received a dynamic score of 23.81/24 and a CRS installation score of 12/12. The vehicle assessment score was 5/13.
